There is an Olympic size pool in the park too; there is a large deck for
sun bathing.
For kids it has interactive water play area. Future plans for the
Portage Park includes a 6500 square foot senior centre with in the premises of
the park. It has a special facility for swimmers where they can enjoy the
facility of heated pools. In 1972 the Park hosted the Olympic swimming trials
